The double rooms actually provide a combination of one double bed and a narrow single bed. Similar to the single rooms, facilities include hanging space and TV cabinet with additional drawers, a writing desk and en-suite bathroom with shower. The double rooms, however, also include two comfortable arm chairs allowing you to enjoy the view of the sea as you relax.

Location

The Deer Park Hotel Golf & Spa is located in Howth, Dublin, on the grounds of the historic Howth castle.

General

The Four Earls Restaurant is located to the front of the Deer Park Hotel, allowing it to benefit from spectacular views of both Ireland's Eye and Dublin Bay. Its relaxing atmosphere and comfortable surroundings compliment the exquisite food and high standard of service. As such, the Four Earls restaurant makes an ideal venue for an evening meal or lunch, a quiet dinner for two, or even a larger group of people who simply want to spend some quality time together.

The menus are creative, offered with careful attention to detail in order to ensure that you enjoy your experience whilst dining. Our wine cellar provides a rather extensive, carefully selected range of wines with which to compliment your meal - unless of course you would rather have something specific from the bar.

The Palm Tree Bistro offers something different in the form of a great selection of panini, scones, cookies and Danish pastries throughout the day. Additionally, any of our hot, sumptuous dishes of the day, combined with choices from a range of pies, salads and quiches create a multitude of options for healthy, nutritious lunches.

Round off your meal with a choice of drink from a full wine list, selection of beers, soft drinks, or freshly made tea or coffee. The bistro makes for an ideal setting to enjoy a chat with friends, refreshment after some golf, or after enjoying a light convivial lunch after a refreshing swim.

While the Deer Park Hotel Golf & Spa offers five golf courses, we also offer our guests a range of top notch facilities. You could, for instance, enjoy an invigorating swim in our indoor swimming pool before stepping into the sauna or visiting the steam room. For those with smaller children, we offer a children's pool area as well as family changing facilities. For the energetic, we offer two hard-surface tennis courts, while others might simply want to enjoy a relaxing stroll through the extensive grounds.

Those who simply want to enjoy nature might want to explore our famous Rhododendron Gardens, adjacent to the hotel. Extending over 30 acres, it features over 2,000 species of Rhododendron. While it provides a splendid sight all through summer, the very best views are encountered in May and June. The view from the gardens are simply spectacular, with novelist H.G. Wells (author of "The Time Machine") was quoted as describing it as being "the finest view west of Naples".

The function room is multi-functional, providing a great venue for your event, regardless of whether it is a wedding reception, party or conference. The combination of a tented ceiling and patios accessible by sliding glass doors on two sides makes it a spacious, airy venue whilst still providing great views of Dublin Bay. Depending on your conference needs, a selection of equipment can be made available, including television, slide projector, video facilities, etc. Our events manager will supply assistance, information and quotes on request.

The panoramic views of Ireland's Eye, Dublin Bay and the surrounding Howth Castle grounds and golf courses makes the Deer Park Hotel an ideal setting for glamorous events, regardless of whether it is a wedding, function or conference.

Our conference facilities cater for any meeting large or small. The airy, well equipped meeting rooms with splendid views of Dublin Bay contribute to successful meetings by creating a relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel also caters for a number of different event types including parties, birthday celebrations, annual club events and more. The combination of a dance floor and great views of Dublin Bay, a full bar and professional catering facilities promises to come together to create memorable nights.

Set on 450 acres of magnificent, tranquil parkland overlooking the sea and the nearby picturesque Howth Village, the Deer Park presents Ireland's biggest golf complex. The vast array of varied courses offer great golfing experiences to everyone, locals and hotel guests alike.

The main golf course at Deer Park Hotel Golf & Spa is an 18-hole course set against the parkland background. This is complimented by two nine-hole golf courses, which can of course be combined to create an eighteen-hole course - the Grace O'Malley course and the St.Fintans course. Additionally Deer Park also offers a full length short course of 12 holes with a Par 3.

The golfing selection is rounded off by our championship Pitch & Putt eighteen-hole course, complimented by a large putting green.

Located close to Dublin City, while offering all the local amenities encountered in Howth Village, the Deer Park Hotel provides the best possible location in Ireland for your next golf vacation.
