The new restaurant and bar called The Castle Vaults combines the atmosphere of old world charm with the facilities of a modern bar, resulting in a cosy and relaxed ambience. The warm stone used in the walls have been in place for two centuries. The exposed vaulted ceiling contributes to its name, having been part of the original wince cellars during the nineteenth century.
The Castle Vaults offer a variety of menus which promises to include something for all different tastes. During the summer months, a Live Traditional Irish Music Band performs on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, while performances are limited to Friday and Saturday nights for the rest of the year. Its unusual and enchanting setting makes it a popular retreat for visitors, providing the perfect setting to relax and unwind after a day out on the city.
