Fota Island Hotel
The Fota Island Hotel is Cork's latest luxury destination, located just 20 minutes away from Cork international airport. The Sheraton offers the (world class) Fota Island Spa with eighteen treatment rooms, thermal suites, indoor swimming pool and hydrotherapy, as well as an eighteen-hole championship golf course.

Rooms
The 131 luxury bedrooms and suites at the Fota Island Hotel & Spa offer superb views over the golf course or the woodlands. All of the rooms are decorated to evoke feelings of relaxation and pure indulgence. As such, all rooms offer Sweet Sleeper Beds, satellite television with internet access, video-on-demand, and dual line speaker telephones with data ports and voicemail. Each room features a mile-long list of amenities, prepared for anything you might require.
Suites also offer a separate living room and bedroom.
All rooms enjoy 24-hr room service.
Location
Fota Island is situated in Cork Harbour, slightly north of the island of Cobh, just a short way off the N25 road between Cork and Waterford, and about 20 minutes away from Cork airport.
Cork city centre is about nine kilometres away. The city of Cork was founded more than a millennium ago by St Finbarr, and was proclaimed the “European Capital of Culture for 2006.”
Fota Island also makes for an ideal base for discovering the diverse south-west region of Ireland.

The Fota Island Hotel offers a world class destination spa dedicated to pampering and holistic relaxation. The spa has partnered with Comfort Zone(R) Italian producer of spa products to offer an extensive treatment range in tranquil surroundings.
The championship golf course is regarded as being one of the best in Ireland. Designed by Christy O'Connor Jr. way back in 1993, it promises to test the skill of any player, regardless of their abilities.
