The AA approved Clifden Guesthouse is a refurbished Georgian home, located in Dublin's city centre. Situated within five minutes of walking from O'Connell Street, it is also conveniently close to the airport and ferry ports, as well as the bus and tram stations.

Rooms

All of our 15 en-suite rooms are non-smoking, and are equipped with television, WC, WHB, coffee/tea making facilities, and direct dial phones. The lower rooms have showers, while rooms on the 4th floor have full bath/shower combinations.

Our private, secure car park provides peace of mind, even after check-out.

Location

Located in central Dublin, Clifden House is a mere five minutes walk from O'Connell Street.

Directions:

1. Coming from Dublin international airport, board bus number 16 or 41 destined for Parnell square. From there, simply walk up to the corner, turning right into Gardiner Row, which leads to great Denmark Street, which leads to Gardiner Place. Number 32, situated on the right, is Clifden House (after the traffic lights, just look out for the third door).

2. When driving, take the city-centre direct route from the airport for about 7 km. The next 500m will take you under a rail bridge, then over another, and over a canal bridge. At the third set of traffic lights, at the Auld Triangle Pub, turn left into Gardiner Street. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Gardiner Place. You will find number 32 close tot he end of the block on your left. If need be, double park and ring the bell for quick directions to our secure car park.

Dublin City and its surrounding areas have lots to offer in terms of theatre, museums, art galleries, and music. It is also well known locally and abroad for its vibrant nightlife.
