Butlers Town House (guesthouse) offers you an oasis of country style tranquility right in the heart of Dublin City. The old structure was beautifully restored to it former glory, but inside it was equipped with a range of modern comforts, ranging from air conditioning to modem connection points.

Butlers Town House creates the impression, and carries the atmosphere of a private home. 20 bedrooms, each uniquely designed and decorated, offer a distinct taste of Victorian life.

The elegant building was able to retain many of its original, distinctive features, which have been creatively combined with modern conveniences for the present day traveller. As such, each and every room was individually decorated to convey the ambience dating from the Victorian era, while still offering the expected creature comforts of modern accommodation.

The guesthouse offers twenty well-appointed rooms, with much attention paid to detail in order to ensure your comfort. Exquisite beds are covered with two-fold Egyptian cotton, with luxuriant hand made pillows to match. Remote control air conditioning ensures comfort while you explore the pre-programmed international television channels.

You can either relax in bath with decadent soaps, or experience an invigorating power shower which is boun to leave you refreshed.

Butlers Town House is situated at 44 Landsdowne Rd, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. Right on the corner of Shelbourne and Lansdowne roads, it lies in the heart of Ballsbridge, in what is known as the Victorian Quarter. With its myriad of red brick facades and avenues lined with trees, this exclusive area is home to a number of foreign Embassies.

Situated close to the city's main tourist attractions, as well as business and cultural centres, a number of Dublin's popular restaurants and pubs are a mere stroll away.

General

In 1995, the owners decided to restore the (back then) derelict building to its former glory. Playing a crucial part in the process of re-designing and reconstructing the building, they embarked on a two year journey of extensive restoration. The result emerged as one of Dublin City's finest small hotels - the Butlers Town House.

Guests and residents can feel safe thanks to our door policy which only admits guests and residents.

The Drawing Room has a coved ceiling, oversized chairs and a private bar which gives it an atmosphere similar to that of a private club, making it the perfect place to relax with a drink from the bar.

The Conservatory restaurant provides daily gourmet breakfast offerings, but also offers a 24/7 menu service.
